So every now and then, magic happens - someone hires you for your very favorite thing. I was honored, elated, probably a little too excited when Sarah Buchanan of the Kula Project asked me to do hand lettering for her upcoming event! Not only does the Kula Project have an amazing design aesthetic, but they are an incredible nonprofit that invests in farmers to create generational change.

I haven’t seen the jewelry in person yet, but I got to make their merchandise tags!  You will be able to shop the new Kula Market items at the Birthday Party. They have brand new shirts and handmade brass jewelry from Rwanda. I am currently in a battle to resist the Birkenstock trend just so I can shop the jewelry. I can’t wait!
